Teen Workforce Development
Teen Workforce Development- Educates and assists students in gaining summer employment through our partnership with the DeKalb County Youth Workforce Department. Inspiring Kids Academy is an official Dekalb County teen workfoce job site. We employed over 40 teens in 2009. Due to high demand for jobs, the summer of 2010, Inspiring Kids Academy become the largest worksite in DeKalb County by employing 150 teen workers through its partnership with the DeKalb County Teen Workforce and the Georgia Teen Workforce Program.
Our partnership and collaboration with the DeKalb County Board of Health provided each teen with classes that focused on child abuse prevention, teen abstinence, dress for success and aids awareness.
